AMN stands for Adrenomyeloneuropathy; it is the adult form of Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). Symptoms include gradual weakness and stiffness of the legs, difficulty/change in walking pattern, loss of the ability to coordinate muscle movement (ataxia), excessive muscle tone (spasm), neuropathy, fatigue, nausea, and bladder and bowel dysfunction. My feet are numb, I can't walk straight, and I can have a lot of stiffness and pain. It's rare for women to have adrenal gland problems.
