AMN stands for Adrenomyeloneuropathy; it is the adult form of Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD). Symptoms include gradual weakness and stiffness of the legs, difficulty/change in walking pattern, loss of the ability to coordinate muscle movement (ataxia), excessive muscle tone (spasm), neuropathy, fatigue, nausea, and bladder and bowel dysfunction. My feet are numb, I can't walk straight, and I can have a lot of stiffness and pain. It's rare for women to have adrenal gland problems.

Just a note
Sooo… Dr Kerber "doesn't do anything with the pumps," so her office has informed me twice now. Therefore Dr Ribnick hooked me up and increased my Baclofen output to 60mcg per day, up from 50mcg (a 20% increase!). And yes, we're talking "micro" grams here, not the usual "milli" grams. Nor Milli Vanilli, and the fact that my brain could come up with "Girl You Know It's True" by the time I finished typing their name disturbs me greatly. I must be tired, but why then cannot I sleep? Reminds me of the song "Paranoia" featuring Max Headroom. Ah, 80's, let loose my head from your grip!!!
